In Belgium the Sandero & Logan are much cheaper than the Spark. |

In the UK the Sandero is £5,995 and the Spark £8,475. There are quite a few in between (even the up! triplets are all cheaper than the Spark, here). Of course the list of things cheaper and more pleasant than the Chevrolet Spark isn't just limited to cars. Catching gonorrhea also fits both categories, for instance. |

Here the Spark starts at 9.290€, the Mii and the Citigo, both at 8.890€. While the Up! is with 9.975€, very expensive for such a small car. At the moment, you get a Ford Fiesta or a Opel Corsa for just 9.999€ |

Here in the US, the Spark starts at $12,245 for a base LS trim, $13,745 for a 1LT, and $15,045 for a 2LT, plus $750 for destination charges, and of course, extra for any options. I configured a loaded 2LT with extra cost paint and engine block heater. It came to $16,990, including destination charge. |

I wouldn´t buy a Spark at all, It is too small and there are better cars at the market. Rather a Fiesta, with AC for just a few hundret Euros more |

Me too. I'd have a Sandero, or maybe the base spec Mii with steelies. Either way, much better than a Spark in pretty much every respect. Neither of them look like a character rejected for Monsters Inc due to being too ugly for instance. -- Last edit: 2012-10-29 20:36:28 |

In the US, the difference between a basic Spark and basic Fiesta sedan is $955. A/C standard in both. |

I would not buy a Fiesta sedan at all, It is ugly, what costs the hatch? -- Last edit: 2012-10-29 20:44:22 |

Here in Italy cheapest new car is the Sandero, which starts at €6950, then Suzuki Alto which starts at €7900. Spark starts at 9190, but often is sold at €6900/7500, Hyundai i10 starts at €8500, Nissan Pixo starts from 8300€, but often you can buy all these with a discount. C1/107/Aygo cost about 9500€, Mii/Citigo here costs about 9000€, whereas Up is with above 10000€...however Fiat Panda Classic starts at €9000 but you can get it at about 8000€...Dacia Logan isn't imported anymore. Anyway, for example Corsa is in special promotion starting at 8800€, Aveo is offered at 8900€...and also Punto, Fiesta and C3 are costing around 10000€... -- Last edit: 2012-10-29 21:59:31 |

Watching for a cheap car? Better get what you write - Sandero, Logan, even Tata Nano. The Spark is not a cheap car. It's a very good small car with an equipment that you can't get for a base model in the other brands. Just try to find a model with 6 Airbags, ABS, A/C, MP3&USB for 9779 EUR (or appr. 8200 EUR with discounts). It costs thousands more for these options. And they are standart for Spark. So, Spark isn't cheap, it's safest from the base ![]() -- Last edit: 2013-04-09 10:14:07 |
