I'm assuming the name was changed so it ties in with the other Mini's on the site, however, for reference, it is registered as a Morris Mini and stated as such on the programme.

Mini became the make in October 69 with the Mk3 [ADO20] launch (and Clubman introduction) - all other branding as Austin or Morris disappeared (and the Wolseley Hornet and Riley Elf stopped production as well). Everything was just Mini in UK - see for instance the bonnet badge in thumbs. DVLA continued some Austin or Morris usage for a few years - we have had other examples - but were wrong.
