I think this is a '55 due to the extra chrome piece below the turn signal that the '56 didn't have - can someone confirm? |

It took 2 and a half years for it, but I do. Or at least GMC do in its 1956 literature The 250 models of the Blue Chip truck line were 1-ton / light-duty vehicles, but this one has a medium-duty bumper. See here a round 250 bumper, with the bullets in it, and here a wave-shaped 350 one, with the bullets above it, to compare. So it's more likely any model from the 1½-ton 300 to the 2½-ton 400 (i.e. 300, 350, 370 or 400). |
