Couldn't it be a GMC model? If a Chevrolet, is it a long C-10 with heavier tires ans suspension system options or a C-20, as towing capacity has nothing to do with payload? And as it is apparently a pickup based tow truck (so a later transformation?), shouldn't we give it just as pickup as class? -- Last edit: 2015-03-02 02:13:48 |

Whether it has the lift on the bed, usually they are categorized as tow-truck here. Please note the thicker rear wheel hub signified as heavier weight class as I described earlier comment. |

No possibility for it to be one of the "heaviest" options (i.e. C-20 equipment) on a C-10? And what about a possible GMC? (Once again, I don't want to bother anyone, I just try to understand as much as possible ![]() |

GMC possible. Not a C-10 due to the rear axle as referenced by rjluna2 . Full floater 8 lug hub was not an option for the C-10. The larger extended axle/hub combination can be seen in the pics. The C-20 also came with 16 in wheels and larger (deeper) hub caps to cover the extended rear axle. The heavy duty suspension C-10 was basically stronger springs. |
