This one is somewhat puzzling .Body , side trim and color panels appear those of a 1955 Packard Clipper Super Panama hardtop coupe , but the grille is from a 1954 Packard Clipper and not the fine lined one of 1955. I suspect that the car was refitted with an older 1954 grille for some reason , could be a frontal impact and lack of 1955 spares or an individual owner's specification. |

Strange indeed that someone would place an older front on a newer car. Could this be some form of non-USA version? Even the windshield does not look right. Would love to see a better photo. |

The more I look the more I wonder if this might not be a senior series 1953. Note what appears to be a divided rear window. Do you suppose some sort of photo/reflection distortion makes it appear to have a 2-tone side trim pattern? |

Folks, could this possibly be a 1954 Packard Carribean with its top up? https://sites.google.com/site/stonesriveraaca/IMG_7539.JPG That rear window bothers me, though. |
