Evidently the producers couldn't get a real Soviet limousine, so they used a similar American car. -- Last edit: 2007-02-18 18:11:27 |

I see no body side moulding. This should be listed as a '48 (22nd series). And with no cormorant hood ornament, cannot be a Custom 8. Can't see enough detail to tell if Standard, Deluxe or Super 8 so will just list as 8. And how can we even say it is a limo?? -- Last edit: 2010-08-29 17:15:57 |

A the end of the movie one gets a better view of this car![]() Here /vehicle_292442-Packard-Custom-Eight-2206-1948.html Commander 57 notes Note beltline chrome looping around the trunk lid, a feature unique to the Custom 8 model. If that's so, than this definitively must be a Custom 8 too. -- Last edit: 2011-07-25 12:34:23 |

If that is the same car, then it is definitely a Custom 8. Clearly carries Custom 8 rear trim. (I guess the cormorant hood ornament is just missing from this vehicle.) |
