I agree that the head lights show a remarkable similarity, but that is no wonder. Back in those days there were a few head light manufacturer, Bosch in Germany, Lucas in Britain and I don't remember the US ones off hand. They were sold as spares as well as together with the car and wouldn't have been any difficulties what so ever to change them during time, if the owner found a pair of a different brand. The bumper can be argued in a similar way. The only thing that that show any conclusive evidence to be a Lincoln are the fenders, but then again other manufacturers had similar shapes. When comparing the grill on the picture above with the one on the Lincoln page, there is no similarities that I can see. I find it rather unlikely this is a Lincoln, although the grill MIGHT have come from a Ford? In retrospect I should have looked more carefully on other things, but I was fooled by the three pointed star. |
