:no: Lada Nova, not VAZ Shiguli, as it was filmed in Germany. The plates are badly faked and not original Russian.

O.k., it's probably rather a Lada 2105, a former DDR-car. It was called Lada Nova only in West Germany.


Btw.: isn't the Soviet military truck in the background worth to list? :think: Obviously a leftover from the Red Army, stationated in the DDR until 1994.

That ones, which were not taken back by the Red Army were sold to private customers. But most of them have sold them again very soon, especially to the export - after they had recognized the fuel-consumption...

I remember, that some of them were standing around at some dealer's-backlots in the mid-90ies, also in Western Germany. But nowadays you cannot see them any more on German roads, not even at classic car- or classic truck-meetings. Totally different, compared with old DDR-Volksarmee-trucks or vehicles of the Western German Bundeswehr.

That's not Nova, it seems..
