Lada Nova, not VAZ Shiguli, as it was filmed in Germany. The plates are badly faked and not original Russian. O.k., it's probably rather a Lada 2105, a former DDR-car. It was called Lada Nova only in West Germany. Btw.: isn't the Soviet military truck in the background worth to list? Obviously a leftover from the Red Army, stationated in the DDR until 1994. |

Ural 375 D. What happened with them after 1994? |

That ones, which were not taken back by the Red Army were sold to private customers. But most of them have sold them again very soon, especially to the export - after they had recognized the fuel-consumption... I remember, that some of them were standing around at some dealer's-backlots in the mid-90ies, also in Western Germany. But nowadays you cannot see them any more on German roads, not even at classic car- or classic truck-meetings. Totally different, compared with old DDR-Volksarmee-trucks or vehicles of the Western German Bundeswehr. |

That's not Nova, it seems.. No 'Hagus' mirros, no 'LADA' badge on the grille. Just a Ex-DDR Lada 1300 [2105] with a sunroof. |
