Didn't see this listed. Apparently it's the Futtermans' car. |

I thought it was supposed to be their "Kentucky Harvester" tractor. |

Pretty sharp eye to be able to tell it's a Nash Metropolitan. As far as the exact year, I'd say it's almost impossible to figure out. This car barely has any screen time. I noticed that even though this movie takes place in the 80s, most of the cars are from the 60s. |

1956+ side trim, so 1500. |

Very good eye, DSL! |

If the photo was shifted just a few inches to the right, we could further narrow this down. The 1959+ models had side door vent windows. And if it is that late, it's not a Nash but a separate marque. |

If it's a different marque, is it possible this is an AMC model? |

After 1957, the Nash and Hudson names were discontinued and Rambler and Metropolitan became separate makes. (Actually, the Nash and Hudson badges were dropped from the Ramblers at the end of the '56 run. Not sure about the Met.) Starting in 1966, the shift began towards using the "American Motors" (AMC) name and by 1968, the transition was complete and all car models were under the "AMC" brand. (Of course, by then the Metropolitan was long gone.) |
