Toyota was still trying to build a reputation in the states when this car was made,so it wasn't very popular in most of the country. IMO, one thing that makes a car notable is its rarity nowadays.Relatively few people today will ever see one in person, so capturing the screenshot seems worthwhile.I think posting a "sighting" on film that would be pretty scarce in real-life is one of the virtues of this site. Old Cadillacs, Corvettes, Mustangs etc can still be seen at car shows.But to see a car like THIS now, many of us have to resort to watching old films or looking up pictures online.Thats just my opinion,though. |
