Happily, this car is still on the road today. It is believed to be the last CX 2400 Safari left in the UK. It is now white and can be seen in a recent photo here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mattloaf/6851044142/ |

Also used in The Professionals episode 'The Rack', again directed by Peter Medak: /vehicle_107909-Citroen-CX-Estate-1976.html Both of these were filmed within the same 12 month period (1977-78). Good to know that such a rare car is still around! Peter Medak was clearly a proud owner... |
