I think this is a Maruti Versa (or Maruti Suzuki Versa?), the Indian version of the Suzuki Every Landy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzuki_Carry#Maruti_Versa I imagine that the film crew partially debadged it to remove Maruti badges but leave the Suzuki logo. Maruti Suzuki naming is confusing but AFAIK they've never used the wording "Suzuki Maruti" (in that order). Recent models seem to be badged as "Maruti Suzuki", e.g. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Maruti_Suzuki_Swift_2093.JPG |

I will sort this mess out for u guys:- 1. this is a maruti suzuki eeco successor of maruti suzuki versa(u can check on google images) 2. the company is called maruti suzuki because suzuki brought its business to India with collaboration of maruti in 1986 3. though the cars are badged suzuki the company is still called maruti suzuki 4. in the second picture posted by badlymad the bike's name is TVS Apache |
