I would not consider the Chevrolet Impala as a bad car at all ![]() Better be happy to own it yourself, I would love to have an Impala instead of my current car. -- Last edit: 2012-02-09 09:50:12 |

(1999 early production) 2000 that one shown is 2 piece design.. since 2001 to 2003(2004 early production ) have one piece design for the plastic trim in the rear also 2004-2005 has painted plastic trim.(late 2004-2005 has darker tail lights) this is to ID the year of the car used when used in a crime as it makes it easier to narrow it down in the DMV data base -- Last edit: 2014-03-21 08:49:30 |

Absolutely correct, except that 2001 MYs built in the first three months of production (June-August 2000) still have the 2 piece bumper. This change occurred mid-August 2000. |

Superior Blue Metallic? That would make this a 2003 only then. "What kind of stereo d'you got in that blue piece of shit?" |

I think this one might be Navy Blue Metallic. Compare below. Navy: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/18221688.html Superior: http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/37584477-3.html |

It has the 2000 only bumper trim though. Doesn’t wrap around the license plate |

2000-01.5 actually. The 2001 MY began in June 2000 and in mid-August the bumper trim was refreshed. But most probably a 2000. A June 2000 build with the old trim for reference: https://www.copart.com/lot/50454428 -- Last edit: 2019-09-06 22:31:12 |
