Fiat Tipo(1988-1995),replacement of 1982-1987-built Fiat Ritmo 2nd series;FWD,one kind of body(5-doors)and various types of engines(the basic was the 1.4 litre FIRE series);of all types offered in its long life,the more desirable was the 2.0 lt. with 16-valves engine(called Tipo Duemilasedici=two-thousand-sixteen(valves),spelled in Italian--i.e.)with electronic injection(was practically the same unit,but non-turbo,fitted on 1991 rally-winner Lancia Delta Integrale=all-wheel-drive--16v),presented in 1991.Was built with gasoline and diesel engines,and assembled under license in Turkey(Tofas Tipo)and Brazil(that got locally-built 3-door Tipos,never built in Italy with that body,but massively exported from Brazil in Italy,thru 1993-1994);will go out of production in 1995,when arrive the Bravo-Brava series to replace it The one of movie seems a Tipo 1.6 SX;difficult to say exact construction year;say SX body trim,'cause shown(seems) light alloy wheel rims |

Message for DatsunZ I'm a Fiat Tipo fan and made a site: www.fiat-tipo-portugal.com There you found almost everything about this great model of FIAT. Not only in portuguese but in other languages. Why you said that they never been built 3 door TIPO in Europe? We have them in all countries of Europe. Watch in my site in which countries Tipo is. I've the real basic: Tipo 1.1 Smart (F.I.R.E. engine) and the great Sedicivalvole, 2.0 lt. |

Not sure if the wheel covers are original, but they look like the one of the 1992 only SX  |
