I think there is something behind his leg (tall, and black in color), perhaps a stand holding the car up. I hope. But, yes, working under a vehicle supported solely by a hydraulic jack is extremely dangerous. |

Correct, that you approach to the kids here. I should better not talk about the idotic things, me and my fellows had made in your wildest car-wrecking times, when we were young twens. He had hanged cars with fan belt at the ceiling of the garage, have jacked them up with bricks and beer crates, have thrown them on the side and fixed only with broomsticks and so on... Once I got a helping shock and started to think, what I've made: while cutting a NSU RO 80 in pieces with a max.sized angle grinder, the angle grinder slipped out of my hands, when I was laying under the car.
