I rather think it's a 1954-56 Fiat 1400A, as here http://www.zuckerfabrik24.de/fiat/fiat1400A_2.htm . If it was a 1900B it should have had additional lights (or at least one cyclops light) in the grill and rather a more ornate shape of the side strip. As it has the appearance of a 1400A but the side strip of the 1400B, could it be a late 1400A or a modified 1400A? -- Last edit: 2013-02-24 18:09:18 |

a 1400 b for the side trim wit a 1400 A grille. many cars were so fitted as since late 1960 the central single fog light was out of law. It could even be a 1400 A with a 1400 B side trim but I think it is more difficult. -- Last edit: 2013-02-24 18:28:31 |

@electra225: I almost ruled out the 1400B as the car above had the doors from a 1400A (a chrome strip at the door handles). I don't think the rear window is big enough for a 1400B and as far as I can see it has on top of that also the bigger 1400A indicators. Please compare this 1400A http://www.zuckerfabrik24.de/fiat/pics3/1400a_pw2.jpg with this 1400B http://www.zuckerfabrik24.de/fiat/pics2/1400B_s1b.JPG . I don't say this is a 1400A, but if it's a 1400B it must be heavily modified. (I'm sorry for being a besserwisser, but I have a 1954 1400A myself, which I hope to restore in a reasonable future.) -- Last edit: 2013-02-25 11:30:13 |
