The one in the second thumbnail is though (trim says it all). Same one that got used quite a bit in Law and Order throughout the years: /vehicle_444358-Chevrolet-Caprice-1986.html (L&O, 1990 episode), /vehicle_518782-Pontiac-Firebird-Trans-Am.html (seen in back, L&O, 1994 episode)and /vehicle_99920-Chevrolet-Caprice-1986.html (L&O: CI, 2001). Was pretty new when it started appearing, so I assume either rented from garage or purchased from a cab company for its use. |

Someone on here sad that these mirrors were optional on fleet vehicles. |

They were, but usually extra (I think those were power mirrors, hence the housing.) Either this was a ex-police/fire department or ex-city government car from either NJ, CT or upstate NY (we get vehicles from all over here.) |
