4x4 23, this truck was a 1980 Ford F-700, I know who owns Crew's surviving 1994 Peterbilt 379 & he has the info on all the trucks used in the movie, this truck is a 1980 Ford F-700 |

It can't be a 1980 because it has the blue Ford oval on the grille as opposed to the "FORD" lettering. It's newer. Refer back to Ddey's year range as the correct one. |

The oval logo was used from 1985 onwards. And as medium-duty F-Series, it could be any model from the F-600 to the F-8000. |

^^ unless the grille was damaged and the prop crew replaced it with a newer model. Early in 1984 when the 1985s came out Ford discontinued the older grille so any model from 1980-1984 had to replace the grille with that of the 1985-1994 models. |
