This type of 4-door Rover P5(B) is called coupé, even with its 4 doors. Seems indeed to be a 3.5 litre coupé [P5B], ca 1970. TBC. -- Last edit: 2006-10-06 13:40:48 |

"faux ami"! , but junkman is right, it is a Rover 3,5L Coupé (because slopped roof versus Saloon) with additional head lights, chrome beadings till the idicator light and "sports rims" = model 1968 ... my favourite, the type I want to buy one day |

This car was availble as the 'regular' P5 3 Litre, as well as the P5b 3.5 Litre. I'd leave it as P5 Coupe. |

You shouldn't wait too long. They'll all be banger raced soon. |

I know, but there are so rare in France nowadays that I must look abroad! ... I saw an adverts few months ago in belgium, about a P5B for about 8000€ but the car was just selled to a dutchman! |

There is a decent one advertised in the current classic car weekly asking 1600 sterling. |

1600£? ... that is cheap |
◊ 2006-10-10 12:37 |
I find that rather steep. A fairly useable one (albeit not pristine) shouldn't set you back more than 1000. |

1600£ is around 2400€ ... compared to 8000€ it sounds very cheap, but depends on the condition of the car. Have you any further info about the one you've seen on adverts? |

8000 € is for a French one? I guess it is much more rare outside UK. And could that UK RHD car be registered in France? |
