As far as I know these were built in Australia but assembled here in NZ - although there is mno mention of Australian production here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mack_R_series - and this page referes to the NZ Mack RB but with no further info. There is an ad here for one - http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/trucks/tractor-units/auction-572031661.htm - which will be gone by the end of March 2013 but it uses the common NZ term of R Series. I don't know anything about Mack's but here is the plate details with a chassis number if that helps apply a model name. |
