1985-86 [AL21] - badged as Corsa in Japan |

The Corsas I've seen on the net have got these taillamps: Link to "www.geocities.jp" However, the Japanese Tercel had these ones: Link to "www.toyota.co.jp" |

Sorry, I can't open your first link - but I suppose the ones in the link mainly have the 1983-84 taillights. The taillights were changed in 1985, and they looked like these. The "Japanese Tercel" you've linked could be an Australia-spec, as the Tercel was to my reckoning always called Corsa in Japan. |

These brochures show more Japanese Tercels along with the Corsa and the Corolla II: http://blog-imgs-15.fc2.com/n/s/a/nsadj0623/3081_o.jpg http://blog-imgs-15.fc2.com/n/s/a/nsadj0623/IMG_0001_20111210123620.jpg And the site: http://nsadj0623.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-89.html The MY may be correct. However, it could be a base Tercel as well. The full range is detailed in this German site: http://toyotaoldies.de/ -- Last edit: 2013-03-19 23:34:47 |

Well, well, well. Nice research. Though I must say I find it really strange to have such a complicated naming for a car of this type |
