Oh... I forgot, DABs were made in Denmark (factory was bought later by Scania). There are not many Danish vehicles on IMCDB, I think. -- Last edit: 2006-10-07 19:22:32 |

Would be the first. But how do we usually list busses? By chassis or by body? The chassis is Leyland (GB), the body Dansk Automobil Byggeri (DK). |

Depends on the makes... was this one usually considered as a Leyland, a Leyland-DAB or just DAB? |

On this Danish side as Leyland/DAB. http://www.armyvehicles.dk/leyland_dab.htm |

Probably, later there were also busses known just as DAB, but I've searched the Internet and for these two models the make is always "Leyland-DAB" or "Leyland/DAB" (like Alexander wrote) - in this time they used mainly Leyland chassis. EDIT: OK - a correction. Company called Leyland-DAB was established in 1970, when British took over the DAB. So it will be better to have it as: Leyland Royal Tiger Worldmaster LIDRT 12/4 + body "DAB serie II". This destination board with bigger place for the number was used since 1968. -- Last edit: 2013-08-24 23:34:23 |
