I suspect GT not GXL. GXL would have more rear panel trim and chrome in grille? Also perhaps a later 74-ish TC1 if D followed UK pattern of facelifts?? |

I agree that a GXL would have had a large chrome striping across the rear panel that this one does not have, thus this is a GT. I fail however to see why this is a 1974 onwards and not a 1971-72? |

technically identical, better brakes etc., engine range was the same for GT (sporty) and GXL (sporty + luxury) starting with 1600ccm 88HP |
