"original D" correct? As told before, the very first Transit MkI were origin GB (it's even remarked in the German Fahrzeugbrief, the "title"). And weren't the Diesel-versions exclusively built in Britain? |

Agreed likely to be a UK diesel. Did not know that D did not make diesels. |

Just guessing. But AFAIK Ford Germany never had mounted these British-origin Diesel-engines. The only German company, which has used Perkins-Diesel-engines, was Eicher in its last years, IIRC. |
