Seems we're accumulating a few unrecorded changes for late S1 XJ6: - change in rear badge style (seems late-72 or later) - change in wheels to perforated rim with bigger centre boss on hubcap (again sometime from late 72 - this may have been when XJ12 introduced July 72, as I think all 12s have this wheel combination) - perhaps the "S2" plinths coming in for late S1 (it would be useful to get rear views of XJ12 S1 to see what they look like, in case this and the wheel and badge changes all came in together alongside the XJ12 launch). - there's also something about the reversing lights containing the reflector on early ones (eg /vehicle_18268-Jaguar-XJ6-Series-I-1969.html ), with the reflectors then moving down to below the main lights (eg /vehicle_112093-Jaguar-XJ6-Series-I-1969.html ). This may have been spring 71.
