I suppose that it is something like a Suzuki Carry rebadged for USA. But I could not find the actual make. I found that since 2009 there is a Vantage VanGO, but this one is older. And I also found Cushman VanGO but with a slightly different front... |

Re-badged Daihatsu Hijet (Piaggio Porter), seems to read 'VanGO Cargo-DLX' under the side window. |

Yes, that's what I read too... but I could not find more info about that except what I mentioned above. Vango is also bags/camping make, it does not help for the searches. |

This might be not road legal at USA market. |

BTW: did they deliberately misspell "toilets"? -- Last edit: 2013-03-26 18:51:29 |

Found at Cinema Vehicle Services, ID'd as a 2002 Kia Vantage. They have another one with a different front.: Link to "www.cinemavehicles.com" -- Last edit: 2013-03-26 19:43:06 |

I did a little research, and it turns out Vantage is a company that sells vans like this. VanGO is one of the various lines of products they sell (VanGO, TruckALL, PRIMO4WD, GreenVAN, GreenTRUCK). http://www.vantagevehicle.com/ |

@Lateef > I am not sure @carcrasher88 > Vantage Vehicles seem to seel vehicles under their own name: they do not mention the original make/model names. There is a slightly more recent model sold as Vantage VanGO: http://www.lonestaronline.com/listings/details/index.cfm?itemnum=939515282 http://shopozz.ru/items/261175394631 It could be a Kia indeed. Vantage started in 1999, could this van be as new as that? I thought it was older, but maybe not actually. I found this also: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDFxd1fHiHo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiSh2uI4v08 Except that video and the cinemavehicles sites, there aren't much references to a Kia Vantage so I think it is a Kia-something imported and rebadged Vantage VanGO for non-road use in USA. |

Interesting, it seems to have also been imported as Metro MicroTuck in its pickup version: Link to "www.minitrucktalk.com" note the sticker about use on road ![]() |

Since this is essentially based on the Daihatsu Hijet, should the classification be 'Origin: Japan, Built in: Korea, Made for: USA'? |

Indeed. I was trying to find what Kia van it was to see if it was really just a rebadged Japanese van, but I gave up. |
