RHP 704 was one of six identical Alpine Mk.IIIs prepared by the Rootes competition department for the 1955 Alpine Rally and was assigned to Stirling Moss. However the 1955 Le Mans 24-hour disaster resulted in the rally being cancelled and the cars were sold on without ever being used as factory entries on an event. |
