I always thought that thise grills were only used on 1998/1999 models, and after that time, they only used honeycomb grills -- Last edit: 2013-04-16 22:37:23 |

LX models always used these grilles. |

Honeycomb grills were used only on Police Interceptor models. All civilian models (Base and LX) used these chrome grills from '98 clear through 2011 when production ended. |

For the police interceptors, only the 1998s had chrome grilles. The 1999s had gloss black grilles and the 2000s had slightly different pitch black grilles. The honeycomb grilles were first introduced in 2001. |

It is indeed a 2011 LX [P7E] model. For the record, Police Interceptors could be ordered with chrome grilles if the purchasing agency wanted them. The Seattle Police Department ordered all of their CV's with chrome grilles for some reason. |
