I think the grille is more like Leyland or even Daimler, but my knowledge of buses is somewhere down at the level of Margaret Thatcher's sympathy for the unemployed. |

Sympathy like pumping billions of taxpayer money into failing industries, as had been done in the 70s? The mines closed down here too. |

at Gag Halfrunt: could this be Leyland Tiger ( ex Ribble ) half cab that found its way to Belgium http://www.flickr.com/photos/65403913@N08/8187167933/ http://modelbusshop.com/images/26805.jpg actually lettering on Leyland should be outlined in black, while Daimler grille is often ribbled but there are many other british makes to come into question, we talked about that before ![]() -- Last edit: 2013-04-23 04:09:44 |

Unmistakeably Leyland; ex-Ribble Tiger wouldn't surprise me. Pity the Belgian owner didn't leave the British plates on ... -- Last edit: 2013-04-23 14:33:39 |

Link to "www.hottransport.net" Looks like this one to me. 1936 Leyland Tiger TS7, rebodied by Duple in 1950, coachwork probably to Duple "A" design. Why are we discussing politics? Surely should be a no go, there are streams elsewhere for that. -- Last edit: 2013-04-23 12:55:04 |
