i rewatched this "again"....just got to thinking that it's not a "Country Squire". Wouldn't it be just an LTD wagon? I named it "Country Squire" the first time because of the original comment on the main movie page. |

If it does not have wood panels I guess that it is just LTD Wagon (or maybe some other name, we have few different ones on the site) -- Last edit: 2006-12-01 17:33:06 |

It's in the water cuz the main character was racing the falcon and tryed to avoid hitting a bunch of nuns crossing the street and wound up slingshoting it in the water. |

I think this one would more correctly be called "Country Sedan". There is an emblem on the left rear quarter-panel that I originally thought said "Country Squire", but without the imitation-wood panels, I guess that makes it "Country Sedan". -- Last edit: 2007-10-09 14:00:13 |

Is that a 8-track tape deck? Look it's the AFLAC ducks! |

Is the title of the film refering to the car? It's probably better left dead after that dive. |

Why? If no water came into the cylinders, it's not a dramatic thing. Just any hours of puzzling it into pieces for the cleaning. |

Water probably got all over the interior though, and that's hard to get out completely. Probably would smell like mold after a while. |

It's up to you to clean it carefully. Sure, you have to remove the whole interior, all cloth- and plastic-stuff. Very important is the correct drying. Then there will be no smell. A propos smell in cars. A bit off topic, but important, too: never let total drunken people sit on the passenger's seat, always in the back - when they puke up into the dashboard, then you'll have the sour-spicy smell later on for sure. This is uch harder and uglier to clean than just water... |

Country Sedans shared the grill with the Galaxie 500/Custom 500 models. This is the LTD Wagon, basically the Country Squire with the woodgrain sides deleted. |

"Country Sedans" are Galaxie 500s "Country Squires" are LTDs, I'm guessing this LTD probably has either a 351 or 400 V8 |

Has a "Country Squire" script here, but it doesn't seem to be always present: > |
