Undoubtedly the same. It has to have a TV history, due to the deletion of logos due to American TV's strange on-again, off-again policy of "we don't want to show any logo, even in blatant instances of Fair Use, that might provide a brand with free advertising." |

I always wondered why some T.V. shows have the marques removed, and others don't. I doubt a car manufacturer's going to go after you for having a car with their marque in it. Seems petty. |

Note that you really only see it on U.S. network television. Since they primarily make money through advertising, they don't like to show any brand names that aren't sponsors, for fear that it'll provide free advertising, possibly even to a sponsor's rival brand. |

I would guess that it happens when the main sponsor that asks to remove logos of competitors. I doubt that they would remove all logos otherwise. |
