I rather say a 1956 Hillman Minx Convertible Series III A, due to the shape of the dark stripe on the side. The Singer Gazelle had a curved and large stripe going down on the rear wing |

I agree with that, except for the year: Series III A (indeed, with this grill and small wings) starts in 1958. |

Series III A starts in september 1959. NOT earlier. This car is a Series III A, B or C. Look at the wings. |
