yes, the Nasr should be based on UAZ 469 actually have read an article in magazine 1966, where they say, Nasr is building a "Jeep" it was the time, when Egypt was supported by USSR, so it could be local assembled UAZ it could have been the GAZ they made at NASR 1966, as UAZ 469 not came before 1971 another hint could be UAZ was delivered with Peugeot Diesel, Peugeot was extremly poppular in Egypt. UAZ deliverd 1500 UAZ Hunter ; Patriot and Pickup kits in 2010 http://eng.autostat.ru/news/view/3815/ hard to find article about UAZ activity in 1970ies, doesn´t mean they started business not before 2010 USSR and Egypt worked very closely togehter in those days, heard of it when in school, 30 years before WWW -- Last edit: 2013-05-29 15:33:59 |
