I thought this looked interesting. It is seen parked outside this bar twice. -- Last edit: 2013-05-31 00:47:10 |

Looks like Cobra-ish bumpers, but not sure if shape matches. |

I think it's something American from the 50s or 60s. |

Too small for anything American, I think. It looks like a VW Karmann Ghia Coupe to me. |

I could run with the KG idea. |

I've redone the image with the JPEG compression as low as the site will allow, so it should be a tiny bit easier to make out now. |

Is that Volkswagen Karmann Ghia? |

You can also post an extra pic cropped (and not downscaled then), it may allow to see the car better |

I can't do that now, this film isn't available on Lovefilm Instant anymore and I only saved downscaled captures (I pasted them into paint and resized them one by one using bicubic resample, Xnview doesn't seem to have a resize setting that makes them as clear as this) |

I agree with Lateef. I have been on a mission to spot kharmann ghias in anything I can find for 4 years. It has been an obsession that people are tired of hearing me talk about. It has gotten to where I can spot the most vague detail. I admit it is hard to see being black at night and shiny from the street light, but the metal bumper and rounded dome shape of the roof give it away for me... I rarely look on this site, because I have more fun stumbling across them, but I was sure enough to check here this time for referrence. |
