Always seen in formations of 2 or 4 cars apart from one solo appearance as main. As far as I can tell they're identical, and in one case has a rear badge which looks like 240 D in onscreen play back (230 E from Oct 80 would be a few months too late for filming). Probably the local hire fleet block-booked for filming?? Also some at least have AA grille badges - can anyone confirm AA did operate in Malta?
