Used as bike transporter by the nasty gang, seen several times through the ep. Side windows look as if taken from old railway carriages. Picture overdose for reasons which will become obvious below.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Main shows a Renault logo and Saviem grille lettering (I don't remember any Saviem being sold in UK, but others will know better than me on this). However ANA 112Y belongs apparently to a 1982 Make: MERCEDES CVS - Model: MERCEDES 410P CHAS CAB - Colour: MULTI-COLOURED, so someone else can sort this one out. DVLA details for ANA 112Y (as Mercedes only - no Benz) are: Date of Liability 12 02 1992 Date of First Registration 01 09 1982 Year of Manufacture 1982 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 3782cc CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type HEAVY OIL Export Marker N Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour MULTI-COLOUR Vehicle Type Approval Not Available Noted that the front plate in main looks stuck on with duct tape, but that does not solve the problem. |

I'm fairly sure Saviems were sold in the UK as such; I know of one at least in the late 70s/early 80s. |

yes, not that mysterious Saviem JP/JN, maybe in UK DAF was more often as it is the cabin developed by Saviem in 1971 for "Club of four" DAF (Niederlanden), Magirus-Deutz (aus der Bundesrepublik Deutschland), Saviem (aus Frankreich) und Volvo (aus Schweden) at dsl: the Mercedes has 85 HP ![]() -- Last edit: 2013-06-10 15:33:12 |

'77-'80 EDIT: This type of grille badging with wide SAVIEM lettering had to be intro. during the 1978 (maybe even at the end of this year). -- Last edit: 2015-09-19 13:31:56 |
