To me, it's not likely. There is a sequence for the wedding, with at least one R-R hired and used. And on this, the angle (plongée) is really typical of those used by René Clément. You'll see other exemples in Le château de verre /movie.php?id=42194. |

I think these are all cars used by Basil Leventon, the undertaker, who at one time had no fewer than 12 big sombre Limousine and Hearses on the Rolls-Royce Phantom III chassis, many of them powered not by their original engine, but by a replacement Rolls-Royce B80 straight eight engine. They would not normally have been employed as wedding cars in real life, but they would have been available for a special gig like this... |
