Thanks - additional photo useful. Pre 1972 as has vents above rear window, but has 68+ dash, possibly wood finish so a posh one. Red side strip also means posh one, but not Super Imp as that was usually black. Does not have Chamois protective chrome strips on engine lid, so by elimination 1970+ Sunbeam Sport (without Imp in the name) which replaced the Chamois Sport when Singer name dropped. We have other HK Imps including a Stiletto /vehicle_489016-Sunbeam-Stiletto-1969.html , a van, and I think a couple of Hillmans. |

Is it a rare example then? |

Fairly rare. Difficult to get solid figures, but total 1966-75 Sunbeam (Imp) Sport production about 10,000, with 7,050 Imp Sport up to 1970 change, leaving about 3,000 as 70-75 Sport. |

I wonder if this for example is still somewhere on a HK scrapyard |

Naaah - probably in an air-conditioned collector's garage alongside a 250 GTO, a Miura SV, 73 Carrera RS and a DB6 Volante. |

We have a white 1971+ 4-headlight Sport in 2 other HK appearances in 73-74 films - /vehicle.php?id=1073932 - so maybe same car again. |
