Not a Fury. Savoy or some special name "police" name. |

This is definitely a Savoy or "Fleet Special" (my guess Savoy because of the trim on the fender bulges). It has the name script on the front doors at the back of the fender bulge. The Fury has its name on the fender panel behind the front wheel opening. This car has only two taillights (visible after it passes the camera), and the Fury and Belvedere both have four. |

In Modell's final picture you can see the Plymouth on the left with a 1962 Dodge on the right while the cops discuss the other characters in the film, watch as the cars pull away at the end of the scene - they undoubtably hit rear fenders and bumpers! -- Last edit: 2014-09-05 02:59:58 |
