This is a minibus based on Mercedes-Benz LP 312. Probably 1956+. See http://onibusbrasil.com/modelos/chassi/mercedes-benz/lp-312 and http://onibusbrasil.com/foto/1626058/ Those single door minibuses were called here LOTAÇÃO and normally they were privately owned, as the bus companies were not enough to their task ( the public transportation was and is a very big problem in Rio de Janeiro). |
