Is this beauty involved in any action or chases? |

You mean the Tempo? () It drives for some time on two wheels (through the school, then in streets), and ends by parking with handbrake turn (or at least with a "hard corner" turn - not sure on how to call that) -- Last edit: 2006-07-26 23:55:37 |

How can you call it a 3rd generation? All they did was change the grill and tail lights and added an optional V6... hardly a redesign. |

I wouldn't have thought this car had enough power to smoke it's tires... poor Tempo... |

Is this another one to add to the list of Tempos getting wrecked in movies? |

Everybody who said Tempo got easier on the eyes in the 1990s please take a look |

Only the wheel is wrecked. |

It did look better (from the rear at least) It looked like the Ford Taurus (which was a good looking car, and was well liked) |

It looks as much like the Taurus as Harriet Myers was like Tammy Faye - yes, they both wore a lot of eyeliner. This is one ugly car, even if the light belt arrangement was quite nice. Its shape makes you want to forget cars and start collecting butterflies or something (but not pet fish, as the aquarium would remind you too much of it). |

But you see, I had a 92 Tempo 2door, in the same hideous brown/tan as seen in Encino Man... But I loved my tempo, and all its dents... and duct tape... It kept running for thousands of miles more than expected. |
