Actually I just looked on wikipedia and according to that there was a "200" in the W124 range. |

No, 200 was the model without fuel injection. |

The "200" was the predecessor of the "200 E". Similar as "230" and "230 E" at the W123. |

Yes the 200 was a carbureted version. As the catalyzer was needed for emission demands the 200 was faded in favor of the 200E. Hence this could very well be listed as a 200 as it would be the lowest possible trim. |
