Most UK/European E-Types used stick-on plates on bodywork above grille - eg /vehicle_105153-Jaguar-E-Type-1972.html . Difficult to find an alternative without blocking one of the inlets (engine, air con etc) so probably just as well front plates not used on US cars. |

A problem in countries, where you have problems to get stick-on plates allowed by the authorities. As in Germany for example. Yes, here exist several cars with them, as MX-5 and E-Types - but not everywhere. In some districts it was never a problem, in other it's absolutely unthinkable to get some. ...federalism... ![]() |
