The later model with quad headlights had International chassis and engine. Edit: Actually I forgot something, for future reference: dual headlights: GMC (mid 80's-1991) quad headlights with wrap-around front rubrail: International (1992 and 1993) quad headlights with no wrap-around front rubrail: Crane (1994 and 1995) The switch to International happened because GM entered into an exclusive agreement with Wayne's rival bus manufacturer Blue Bird which provided GM school bus chassises to Blue Bird only for 10 years (1992-2002 model years), and a company called Harsco purchased Wayne out of bankruptcy in 1994 and entered into an agreement with Crane to provided bus chassis. An updated tranist-type Wayne bus was built as a prototype in 1995 using a Spartan chassis, but Harsco closed Wayne down before it could be produced and sold the companies assets to rival Carpenter, which itself went out of business in 2001.
