The photograph is so fuzzy that the only certain identification is Bus - Double deck. However I'll go out on a limb, and suggest that this may be a Cravens bodied RT with the roofbox removed, if such a thing existed. |

I would agree that all are London Transport buses. As far as I know, none of the Leyland chassis received Cravens bodies as new. We therefore have two types, as this bus appears, through the fuzz, to have five bay construction, meaning it is one of the Cravens bodies. The picture which only shows the entrance area is just too short of information, to me anyway, to hazard a guess as to which variant it could be, and the one that clearly shows the radiator is a Leyland, either RTL, or less likely, the 8 foot wide RTW. -- Last edit: 2013-09-06 23:38:45 |
