Looks like a late thirties MG ...but that may be just too easy. |

I find it rather big for a MG, but?.. |

Looks like the MG VA (1937). |

It is an MG VA but with a special body. The factory Tourer has cut-outs in the doors. see http://www.svwregister.co.uk/car_profiles.htm |

It is not a VA (1 1/2 litre) but an SA (2 litre), the early Charlesworth bodied tourer, built from July 1936 to 1938. It is too big for a VA, has four doors and the number plate above the spare wheel. The full height front doors were later changed to cutaway doors. There are some pictures here: http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z13545/MG_SA%20Charlesworth/default.aspx |

It's a 1937 MG SA Charlesworth Tourer. This car is known in the M.G. community, as it still exists today. The same car was used in a couple other movies. -- Last edit: 2023-02-26 04:55:10 |

At one point Olivier says he wishes the damn car would go faster and I thought 'damn he's actually driven one...' |
