The ship is the Hoegh Ailette, a 381 foot long ship built in 1958 by Drammen Slip og Verksted of Norway for Leif Hoegh & Co. It served with Hoegh until 1972 when it was sold to a company in Singapore.

There are some other ships in the film one can read the name, I think. I'll try to get you pics.
