LOL I think you have to separate 2 and A6 in designation not together and I think this goes for all Leopards on IMCDB /vehicles_make-Krauss-Maffei_model-Leopard.html -- Last edit: 2013-09-25 18:15:29 |

Well, the Bundeswehr took two Leo 2 after 1999 to the Kosovo, but they never have used it, although it was planned. Because the Balkan-streets and -villages were too narrow and the bridges to weak. So the two Leos could never leave the barracks-area. It should have been realized before, but ... it's the Bundeswehr... ![]() |

the Saudis wanted to buy 200 Leopard 2 yet because of political crap they cancelled the order and buy russian crap instead , just when you need jobs in Germany think the industry would want to hang the politicians .. |

Naah, stay relaxed, it's not that bad - just right now the German political scenery is able to do that by theirself, without any external help ![]() |

What have you done??? Now everybody knows we don't have tanks! |

LOL if the soviets did launched an conventional attack against the west the Leopard 2 would have been in the front line bearing the bulk of the first wave of attack so the Leopard deserves some respect in this regard -- Last edit: 2013-09-25 21:36:34 |

This would have been interesting photo-motifs. I would have seen that very close, as in the 80ies I lived not far away from the Iron Curtain. So I would have spotted this Cold War-item also in action: Link to "www.google.de" |
