We do not use [NG/SK] code anymore - it wasn't very correct. There were two easy to distinguish generations - NG and SK. This is 1980 or later truck. However(!) maybe it can be the yugoslav FAP... They had the 2225 model and later verisons had windflaps and wide grille too. This "...tomatic" badge maybe can say something... Not very "mercedesish"? -- Last edit: 2013-09-26 14:40:30 |

The SK generation has different side windows: /vehicle.php?id=248493 FAP trucks still have the original NG windows: http://www.fap.co.rs/fap/home%20eng.htm Because this is a recent film and a scene shot in Montenegro (according to the number plates), a working refuse truck is probably more likely to be an FAP than a Benz older than 1988. -- Last edit: 2013-09-26 15:17:30 |

Yes it is not SK range truck for sure. Hence I renamed it to "NG". The truck looks quite fresh indeed, but it could be renovated. But this badge at the grille is a key - IMHO original Mercedes never had anything like that... -- Last edit: 2013-09-26 15:20:07 |

absolutely, together with familiar orange color can bring some light into darkness: it is Mercedes-Benz 2225 4x6 AUTOMATIC "kommunal" made in Germany 100% even the superstructure Geesink my guess. my guess: german city sold it to the country scene is shot?
