Well, It isn't a historical movie, but a kind of pastiche and this tank is only in one scene, so... ;)

That is true but you would think they could have found something closer to the WW2 era to use like a T-34 or even a Sherman or Patton tank?

Maybe for them it is funny, this mix: Russian tank with German... "logos" and nickname "Rudy" (name of Polish tank from the 1960's TV serie, which of course had nothing to do with Wehrmacht). This scene is more... crazy with such a kitschy tank. ;)

T-72 tanks was made in UWZ, polish T-72 was made in Bumar.

Yeap, it's so possible. When T-72 are returned from Polish Forces, AMW are selling T-55's, T-72's, SKOT's, etc.
